Product description:

Omegon Advanced 152/750mm telescope - An instrument for some quality time

The Omegon 152/750mm telescope lets you immediately get started in the world of deep sky object and planetary observing - the telescope's 152mm aperture optics will show you hundreds of interesting astronomical objects. The short focal length also makes it extremely compact. This telescope will also make it easy for you to get started in planetary and deep-sky astrophotography.

Parabolic mirror - great observing guaranteed

This telescope comes with a parabolic primary mirror, which allows you to benefit from a much better quality image as compared to that produced from the spherical primary mirror which is often used in many cheaper products. You are one step ahead of these telescopes with the Omegon advanced telescope. And you notice that immediately as soon as you observe with it of course. Stellar images are both sharp and perfectly round. Observing becomes a real pleasure and will keep your fascination with astronomy alive.

Maximum freedom - the focuser

The OTA is equipped with an adapter which allows you straightforwardly connect an Omegon Advanced 2" focuser (optional). You can attach your focuser in just a few minutes by means of the pre-assembled adapter, which also ensures extract alignment.

What you can see with the Omegon 152/750mm advanced telescope

The Moon with its thousands of craters, detail on planets, and nebulae which are many light years away. It's almost as if you are zooming out of our solar system into the vastness of the universe - at least with your eyes - as you will see so many nebulae that you could almost lose touch with the ground under your feet. For example, an incredibly resolved image of the M13 globular cluster, or the Orion Nebula - the birthplace of many stars, as well as the Crab Nebula (M1) - a gigantic remnant of a supernova that Chinese astronomers observed in 1054, and much, much more.

Setting the OTA on a mount of your choice is simple

The OTA comes already equipped with two tube ring clamps and a dovetail rail. This allows you to set the OTA on the mount of your choice in virtually seconds. The GP format dovetail rail serves as a quick mounting system.

The advantages in a nutshell:

  • high-quality OTA
  • all-metal components
  • parabolic primary mirror (diffraction-limited)
  • sharp, high-contrast images
  • adapter for quick and easy connection of advanced focusers
  • thin spider vanes and blackened interior for high contrast
  • explore the world of deep sky objects
