The Omegon planisphere is the best way to learn how to recognise constellations. It is your guide to the stars!
A planisphere consists of a circular map of the sky, with one of the celestial poles at its centre. The starry sky is not always the same: stars rise and set, and the sky in summer is different from that in autumn, winter or spring.
This is why the planisphere has another disc above the star chart. This disc has an opening that represents the horizon and shows the part of the sky visible at a certain date and time. The planisphere can be easily adjusted for any date and time.
