Omegon Solar Safe Easy Cam Filter – Take safe photos of the sun with your Smartphone
The Omegon Solar Safe Easy Cam Filter allows you to take safe photos of the sun with your Smartphone. The compact white light filter is simply attached in front of the mobile phone camera and reduces the intense sunlight to a safe level. Ideal for photographing solar eclipses or sunspots.

Advantages at a glance

  • Specially designed solar filters for smartphone cameras
  • Tested to DIN ISO 12312-2
  • Easy attachment with Velcro
  • Suitable for solar eclipses and solar observation
  • Compact and lightweight design
  • White light filter for natural sun imaging
  • Ideal for spontaneous photography on the go

Solar eclipse 2026 – a major astronomical event across Europe
Taking direct photos of the sun without a suitable filter can damage your Smartphone camera’s image sensor. The Solar Safe Easy Cam Filter blocks ultraviolet and infrared rays and 99.999% of intense visible light, effectively protecting your Smartphone camera.
This allows you to take photos of the sun or a solar eclipse directly with your mobile phone.

Easy attachment to your Smartphone
The filter is attached directly in front of the Smartphone camera using a Velcro dot. This ensures it is quickly and securely positioned in the correct place. Weighing just 3 grams, the filter adds hardly any weight to the Smartphone and fits easily into any bag.

Nature's sun imagery with white light filter
The integrated white light filter displays the sun in a natural representation. Sunspots or the progression of a solar eclipse can thus be documented much more clearly. This makes it particularly straightforward for beginners to use.

Tested safety
The Solar Safe Easy Cam filter complies with the DIN ISO 12312-2 standard for solar observation. This makes the filter suitable for safe photographic observation of the sun. The sturdy cardboard frame reliably protects the filter whilst ensuring a particularly light weight of just 2g.

Easier shots with the Solar Snap app
For even better results in solar photography with a Smartphone, we recommend using the “Solar Snap App”. The app helps you position the sun correctly in the frame and find the right camera settings. This makes taking photos much easier, particularly during events such as a solar eclipse. Note: The app is provided by an independent supplier. There is no partnership with Omegon. The recommendation is made to simplify operation and enable better results. Share your best snapshots directly with family and friends!
