Omegon PD36 tripod pan-head
See in every direction - for a panoramic view
Whether wearing gloves in the icy cold or in summer at a blistering 35°C - The control handle means you will always have the pan-head under control. It can be rotated 360° and tilted up to the zenith; making your birdwatching, nature-watching and astronomy a pleasure.
Super-fast assembly of your instrument
The large quick-release plate makes super-fast mounting of your optics possible. You can connect the plate to binoculars, spotting scope or camera using the built-in ¼" screw. You then just set everything onto the tripod head. It engages with a click, and a lever is then used to lock your instrument securely and firmly in place.
If you have more than one instrument to mount, then you should consider getting another quick-release plate which can be found in the Accessories section.
Our expert comment:
What is the difference between the PH36 and PH80 tripod head?
The PD36 is a slightly simpler design than the PD80. The load capacity and smooth tracking of the mechanics with the PD36 is not quite as precise as with the PD80. The PD80 also has a somewhat more elegant design. Nevertheless, any beginner looking for a robust and inexpensive pan-head can't really go wrong with this model.
